Happy Halloween from our little punkin!

One Month

It's amazing what can change in a month.

Amelia has been home since September 24, is gaining weight, and is doing very well. All in all we are incredibly lucky that she only spent 12 days in the NICU and has done so well otherwise. After 18 days at home with her I feel like I have a pretty good handle on this whole parenting thing, although there have been a few breakdowns. Tim has been extremely patient and understanding throughout all of this, which is a huge help. He has even been getting up with her at 4am and giving her a bottle this week so I can sleep a little longer. He is enjoying being off of work this week and we are having a good time at home with him.

Hopefully we can get some of our house projects done this week. Amelia stopped us from getting them done before she arrived!

Here are some of the photos I took of Amelia for her one month-aversary. I was trying to get a few different poses/props to see which ones I like the most. I think I'll do all of her monthly shots on the Minnie Mouse chair so I can see how much she grows!

I just love how her little toes are splayed in this picture. :)
